Basic cover includes
- Protection in Curaçao, Aruba, Bonaire and St Maarten.
- Loss due to external calamity, fire, explosion, spontaneous combustion, lightning stroke, theft, fraud and misappropriation.
Can be extended with option B
- Third Party Liability (TPL) minimum insured sum NAf 1,000,000.
- Construction equipment located outside Curaçao, Bonaire, Aruba or Sint Maarten.
- Inter island transport can be covered by taking out transport insurance.
- Premium restitution if equipment is temporarily decommissioned.
- Damage to pneumatic tires if equipment itself is undamaged.
- Damage to underground cables or (pipes) if not precisely located in work drawings.
- Consequential loss or damage of any kind to crops, forestry and/or any building due to construction project.
*Insured must provide ENNIA with copies of relevant work drawings.
Your Construction Equipment Insurance is a personalized product. The cost depends on the combination of basic and additional cover you wish to purchase. ENNIA St Maarten offers competitive prices. An overview is provided below.
ENNIA or your independent insurance adviser are pleased to prepare a costing for you.
- Basic cover subject to NAf 250 deductible.
- TPL subject to NAf 150 deductible.
- The premium for basic cover is based on list price x 1.5%. A minimum premium of NAf 100 applies.
- The premium for Third Party Liability (TPL) is calculated as a percentage over and above the basic premium.
- Up to NAf 100,000 10% surcharge
- Up to NAf 150,000 20% surcharge
- Up to NAf 200,000 25% surcharge
- Up to NAf 300,000 35% surcharge
- Up to NAf 500,000 77% surcharge
- Up to NAf 1,000,000 100% surcharge
