Privacy Statement

Privacy at ENNIA
The contacts you have as (potential) ENIA customer are mostly conducted via telephone, email and regular post. We strive to protect your privacy, as well as providing a personal service. You can read below how ENNIA handles your personal information.

Protection of personal details

ENNIA respects its customers’ personal environment. The protection of personal information is an important aspect of ENNIA’s activities. All personal information is treated with the greatest possible care and security.

Use of personal details

As a financial services provider ENNIA provides a range of insurance and investment products. When you contract insurance, buy a service, or communicate with ENNIA, ENNIA records your personal details. ENNIA processes your personal details in order to set up and implement an insurance agreement or financial service, and to communicate with you, as our customer. ENNIA can also advise you on ways in which you can limit a loss / and or costs. ENNIA may refer to your personal details in order to provide useful information on insurance products and financial services relevant to your situation. All medical information is processed separately under the responsibility of our medical adviser, and under strict terms of confidentiality. Any medical information you provide is used strictly to process or carry out the insurance agreement for which you provided the medical information, and for no other purpose than that for which the insurance or service was contracted by you. Sometimes it may be necessary for your medical details to be submitted to a reinsurer’s medical adviser. The medical statement is archived, along with any other medical documentation (to be) received, such as medical examination reports, in a medical file. Your medical file is managed by the medical adviser. By forwarding a completed and signed medical health statement, you give your consent to the processing of your medical information for acceptance of the insurance or service you have requested. If you do not give your consent for this, ENNIA may not be able to proceed with your request, as it may not be possible for it to adequately assess you application without medical information. Unfortunately most insurers, including ENNIA, are sometimes confronted with wrongful claims or declarations, which is neither helpful to ENNIA nor its customers. Personal information may be used to counter such practices.
